Iowa Republicans Want to Crack Down on Vote by Mail

Voting by mail worked so well in Iowa's primary that Republican legislators want to tamp it down for the general election. Iowa's Republican Secretary of State Paul Pate sent every registered voter an application for a vote by mail absentee primary ballot and voter participation shattered all previous records. Now, the Republican state legislature has introduced a bill that would prevent Pate from doing the same thing this November.
